We are so happy with our kitchen and with our decision to chose R&R. From initial contact with Daniel to Rick cleaning the tiles on the final day – service and communication were phenomenal! No hard sell; clear and relevant questioning; sensible, cost saving suggestions; project delivered in good time; itemised bills and payment schedules. These guys ROCK and we would definitely use them again. Even our neighbours commented on how tidy and considerate Rick was in clearing up and parking each day!

Absolutely first class

With a large dollop of trepidation, we began the journey of replacing our old, worn out kitchen. After trawling around many outlets and showrooms, we decided on R&R, following an initial contact visit with Daniel in the showroom. From that first meeting, armed with ideas, prices, choices of appliances and a myriad of other stuff, we took the plunge. We would like to thank Daniel for his unending patience, help and advice. Joel, Lawrence and Simon who began work each morning at 8 am and at the end of the day, made sure everything was left as clean and tidy as possible. Chris the electrician, Carl the plasterer who came out on a Sunday morning to undertake an extra job , Magnificent Matt and Alfie here one evening until 7pm when our boiler decided to play up. And finally to the ever resourceful Rick, trouble shooter extraordinaire for whom nothing was too problematic, who made sure the job was kept to the allotted time scale. We love our new, high quality, kitchen – its an absolute joy. We have already recommended R&R to friends and acquaintances and will continue to sing the praises of this highly efficient and professional company. Thanks everyone for a job extremely well done.

The service we received was excellent. From our initial enquiry and quotation Daniel was helpful and informative, listened to our comments and needs. We were provided with a comprehensive quote and 3D render of the designs for thebathroom and ensuite. The final rooms look exactly like the plans. The team that carried out the work was also excellent, Joel kept us informed on progress daily and fixing any problems quickly. Everything was done on schedule and sometimes even a few days early. These are big and disruptive projects, but the team made everything as smooth as possible so I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

We recently had our bedroom and ensuite bathroom designed and installed by Richard & Richard’s Design & Installation Specialists Ltd. Daniel did the design for us. He came to measure up and listened to our ideas and needs. The design that Daniel created for us was brilliant. He designed both the bedroom and ensuite to be contemporary, modern and included all the items on our wish list. We were able to choose wardrobes, bathroom fixtures & fittings, flooring and wall tiles all under one roof at their premises in Pear Mill, Stockport. The installation team were excellent. They were hardworking, skilled and a pleasure to have in our home. The team cleaned up at the end of each day and were so tidy! The quality of their workmanship was exemplary. We had a couple of small issues along the way which were dealt with quickly and efficiently. We would highly recommend Richard & Richard’s Design & Installation Specialists Ltd, in fact we already have!

Simply Brilliant!

This team are exceptionally good. I am not prone to hyperbole, but I recommend them on so many levels. To begin with, they are highly professional – supervised by the ever-conscientious (and very hard working and able) Rick, the young-ish workers applied themselves skillfully and diligently. The input the firm provided over the design and major refurbishments to my kitchen, sitting room, and two bathrooms was both inspiring and impressively accomplished. On the design/co-ordinating front, Ben was highly creative and thoughtful (and patient!) and judged the degree of consultation and ‘going ahead’ (there were so many decisions to be taken) just right. On top of all of this, the team are personable and good to be around – a blessing when for a while I had to live with them cheek-by-jowl on what was effectively a building site. The result: a wonderfully transformed home and a very satisfied and grateful me.

Exceptional service

I’m actually a returning customer this time around, having had the team fit my kitchen a couple of years ago. Before I’d thought to check whether R&R did bathrooms too, I’d visited the usual high street brands, and either felt disappointed by the choices or [helpfully, actually] just told that my ideas and vision were not in their capabilities! I knew Daniel from the kitchen job I’d had done, so knew I was going to experience no pressure – he just listened to my ideas and offered his creativity and ideas right when they were needed. He’s got a real flare for getting you to that final design, when you’ve only got the key ideas in your head. My ideas needed guidance – I ran the risk quite heavily of the finished job not being right, being as bold as they were! You get a bit nervous when you can’t find a single result on Google to describe what you’re imagining(!) So many thanks Daniel – Rick – the great team of lads who represented them so well – and various others who I know took a keen interest in nailing this (e.g. my obsession with getting lighting just right, that needed assistance too!). Great team, great result, great experience, great big pain that I now can’t stand my en suite. Guess I’ll see you soon chaps 😉 (And to the casual reader, to prove my point about the madness of my design, I can’t even put a name to it, to point out which picture it is above! The jungle… cave… spa? You can see why I’m buzzing about the result).

Absolutely what you hope for, when you choose a design & fit company

Someone reviewed R and R stating their new bathroom fit was as good as the previous refit of their kitchen. This sold the company for me. Daniel gave me confidence from our first meet, he was punctual, listened and was able to advise when needed. Work started on time and finished on time. Our fitters were really nice guys and did an excellent job, always tidy and didn’t mind my questioning. Sub contractors for flooring, tiling, tops and electrics were all good. We came in on budget and minor hiccups with refitting in an old house were easily and quickly sorted. Would I get R and R to do my bathroom. I certainly would.

I originally sought Which’s Trusted Traders so as to find a trader for the design and installation of our new shower-room. I was encouraged by the high rating of customer reviews of Richard & Richards’ and their website showcasing their excellent work. Richard & Richards have completely delivered on all stages of the project. The customer service from Daniel has been excellent, the information and breakdown of the work (such what is included and what is not) detailed in the plan is clear and comprehensive, the reliability of the team was excellent, all the work was completed according to the original timetable, the shower room is of a high standard and we are impressed by the transformation.

We decided that our 20-year-old kitchen had seen better days but who to trust with creating a new one? Several neighbours recently had new kitchens fitted and Richard & Richard’s name came up with glowing reviews. Being a ‘Which’ recommended outfit was a big plus. From initial contact through site visits, drawing plans up, recommendations for units, all was done very professionally, friendly and without any pressure selling. The work was started on time, everything went smoothly, plumbers, electricians, plasterers all turned up on schedule and their work was of a high standard. The kitchen fitter worked tirelessly and with great skill and the finished kitchen was everything we had hoped for. We can highly recommend Richard &Richards from our experience, they are not the cheapest nor the most expensive but the standard of work, craftsmanship, materials and organisation is excellent. When we’ve saved up the bathroom is next!
